Shipping policy

At Athenart, every piece is handmade with care in our studio in Athens.
We ship to most destinations worldwide and offer different shipping options depending on your location.

Production Time

Each Athenart piece is created by hand and may require time to be carefully prepared before shipment.

We usually need 3–10 business days to create the handmade jewelry piece you have chosen.

If your selected piece is in stock, it will usually be shipped within 3–5 business days.
If it is not in stock, we may need additional time to create it.

If you need your order sooner, please contact us before placing your order and we will be happy to let you know the exact production time.

Shipping Within Greece

All orders within Greece are shipped by courier.

Delivery usually takes 3–5 business days, depending on availability and destination.

Please note that some pieces may require additional time to be handmade before shipping. If you would like to confirm the timing before placing your order, you are always welcome to contact us.

Shipping Cost – Greece

• Free shipping for orders over €200

• For orders below €200, shipping is €7

Shipping Within the European Union

Shipping charges for delivery within the European Union include VAT.

According to the options currently available:

• DHL shipping within the EU order up to 1000€ : €50

• DHL shipping within the EU Over 1000€: €100 (Insurance Included)

• Shipping within the EU with tracking number: €20

Deliveries within the EU are not subject to customs duties or additional taxes. 

Shipping Within Europe

For European destinations outside Greece, we offer:

• Free shipping for orders over €250 with post office and tracking number

Please note that some countries are part of Europe but are not members of the European Union. In such cases, customs duties, taxes, or import fees may apply depending on the destination country.

Shipping to the United States

Due to recent customs regulations, we no longer ship to the United States via Greek Post (ELTA).

All U.S. orders are shipped with DHL Express only.

• DHL shipping within the US order up to 1000€ : €87
• DHL shipping within the US order OVER to 1000€ : €127 (Insurnace Included)

Duties & Taxes

U.S. orders Duties & Taxies are included

Refused or Undeliverable Parcels

If a parcel is refused,  and the parcel is returned to us, we will not refund the shipping cost in either direction.

Shipping to the Rest of the World

For destinations outside Greece, Europe, and the United States:

• Shipping with post office and tracking number for orders up to €300: €20

• Free shipping with post office and tracking number for orders over €300

• DHL shipping with order up to 1000€ : €87
• DHL shipping with order OVER to 1000€ : €127 (Insurance Included)

Customs duties, taxes, or import fees  are included  

Important Notes

• We are not responsible if an item is lost during shipping when the post office option is selected.

• We are not responsible for delays caused by international postal services.

• Delivery times may vary depending on destination, customs procedures, and local carrier handling.
